“Don’t go with the flow, instead grow with the flow”, says Praveen Paudyal, Senior Executive- Account Management, Redefine Marcom Pvt Ltd. Masking immense sagacity and ingenuity behind his unusual wit and sarcasm, Praveen has got a simple working style. He overcomes the complexest of issues with extreme agility, dedication and professionalism.
Often seen breaking into the rooms uttering “Kya scene hai?”, Praveen is the man behind most of the laughing fits you’d hear in Redefine. He started his career by freelancing for top media houses in India during his graduation days, and eventually landed in Redefine in 2014 stimulated by his quest to work in a marketing industry. “I was told in the interview itself that it will not be a conventional 9 to 6 job and thus, I have always tried to live up to my job requirements- answering when the duty calls.”
“I had a flair in organising cultural events, but Redefine opened up a whole new world of corporate events to me. I started with working in the response team for a month to understand the nuts and bolts of the industry. Learnings in that initial one month were life-changing and certainly have underpinned my success”, says Praveen reminiscing his initial days at Redefine.
“Five years is a long time but at Redefine, it has never seemed so. With each passing moment, I have gained new lessons. I have learnt to not assume and ask always. I have learnt to admit my mistakes and extract lessons from them. I have learnt to supplement clients’ requirements with my intelligence to deliver best results. Most of all, I have learnt to be a good listener and an even better executer!” says Praveen.
“Redefine exudes the love and care equal to that of a family and this I realised when I had to pursue my Masters in Public Relations and Sandipan sir relaxed my working hours to enable me to attend classes. I have invariably worked with everyone at Redefine, and I have taken away actionable insights from every rendezvous. Its stupendous the amount of expertise and knowledge people have here and I think this is one of the reasons why Redefine did so well in the past 9 years and is inching closer to the completion of its glorious 10 years” states Praveen.
