Augmenting Digital Capabilities In An Experience Economy

We live in an experience economy which is growing and innovating faster than ever, bolstered by digital realities. With events industry embracing digital transformation, immersive experiences are now a frequent spectacle; registrations, seamless exercises; and audience, not just attendees but real participants.

We, at Redefine, are poised to capture the full potential of digital-enabled experience economy. We are using technology in our most offerings to blend the physical and digital aspects of the events and bring experiential dimension to them. Here are a few of our digital capabilities that we are using to achieve sustained excellence in event marketing-

1. Registration Management Portal

What is it?

Registration Management Portal (RMP) is an end-to-end online portal that seamlessly integrates all the functions in the registration lifecycle starting from enrolment of registrations to the creation of post-event attendee report within a single interface. The portal is accessible to four stakeholders- admin, client servicing team, DemandCOM team and clients.

How does it work?

  • On successfully registering for an event through the registration link received in the invite, the registrants will receive an automated SMS embedded with QR code. The QR code will facilitate hassle-free check-in at the event.

  • For registration confirmation, the DemandCOM team will send an OTP through the portal to the registrant. This step will be instrumental in weeding out even the bare minimum possibilities of fake confirmations.

  • We have got the RMP engineered in a manner that allows our clients to access the dashboard through login ID and password. They can check the number of registrations on a real-time basis and review the attendee profile therein.

  • The portal auto-generates a post-event report specifying the number of attendees, their profile and number of non-attendees.

  • 2. LinkedIn-Based Registration Application

    What is it?

It is an exclusive web app designed to increase brand’s presence over LinkedIn by leveraging event delegates. It allows attendees to share posts related to the event on their respective LinkedIn accounts, boosting the marketing of event tremendously.

    How does it work?

  • When delegates clicks on ‘Register now button’ on the invite, they are redirected to the app page and requested to login with their LinkedIn account.

  • On successful sign in, the app asks the delegates to upload their image.

  • In the two next steps, the delegates are asked to enter their personal details and company details.

  • Finally, the app asks the delegates to select the cards that they would like to share on LinkedIn on the day of the event.

  • The app supplements the marketing strategies of the clients without additional time and efforts while eliminating the possibilities of proxy delegates. It also extensively promote events among the TG of clients as well as among the LinkedIn connections of the event delegates.

    3. Nexus Event App

    What is it?

Nexus is a web event application that allows you to provide event attendees interesting content, engagement opportunities and networking platform before, during and after the event and can be accessed from any device. The application has features like agenda, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, hotel information, feedback, password, share contact etc. We can customise the app as per the client’s objectives and event-specific requirements.

    How does it work?

  • The prospective attendee are directed to Nexus via the ‘Register now’ tab on invite sent.

  • They are able to choose whether to register through LinkedIn or manually.

  • The delegates simply have to log into the app after their registration is confirmed.

  • Once the delegates download the app, they are able to access all information pertaining to the event such as agenda, speakers, sponsors hotel info, and Wi-Fi passwords.

  • The delegates receive push notifications relating event sessions, activities, etc.

  • They are also submit feedback through the app and share each other’s contact.

  • 4. Microsite

An event microsite is an individual web page or a collection of webpages that act as unique channel of brand marketing. It may have its own domain or may exist as a subdomain. A microsite goes a long way in redefining customer experience journey especially in residential conferences and event series by aggregating all information that an attendee, sponsors, speakers and other stakeholders need at one place and providing a platform for simplified registrations. We develop customised microsites for events as per their themes and client requirements.

    5. Voice Technology

We recently used Amazon digital assistant Alexa to co-host an IT conference by elaborating on conference details and introducing the speakers. It was for the first time in India that Alexa was being used at a conference as a co-host. The aim of this innovative concept was to give audience a glimpse into the future of voice technology and to create an unparalleled experience.

Interactive emailers, video marketing, online lead generation and webinars are other domains where our digital forte lies and where we are diving in deeper to drive digital excellence.

As experience becomes the main currency between brands and their consumers, we are constantly augmenting our digital capabilities so that our clients can shift from materialism and just offering products to creating immersive experiences, enhancing opportunities and meaningful discourses. It’s said ‘if you can dream it, you can do it’ and that’s the adage we abide by as we tap the ocean of endless possibilities in the digital arena.
