The One Who Recreates Moments
“Videos are more like photography, you have to recreate the love of the moment!” says Arpan Anand, Executive- Graphics & 3D DigiCOM. His piquant love for cartoons got him into the arena of 3D graphics and animation. While videos are his forte, he has no less knack in bringing fascinating and innovative designs on the table.
“Cartoons are freer, crafty, imaginative and captivating, this is what I try to encapsulate in my designs- the elements of ingenuity, elegancy, simplicity, intricacy and surrealism. The blend of all these elements helps me create exceptional pieces” says Arpan who came across Redefine accidently through a Whatsapp group. “Not all accidents are bad, some are beautiful and gratifying!’ exclaims Arpan who has had stints working with ThinkTech Media and Café Indica interior technologies previously.
“Redefine has redefined my persona and prowess as a designer. Integrating content and business objectives within a design is one of my greatest learnings. My visualisation lens itself has undergone a colossal transformation catalysed by the enormous opportunities for experimenting that I got here and the support of my superiors and colleagues. Sandipan sir has always pushed me to work on new things and the backing to learn by trial and error has led me to discover more of my capabilities. Naresh Sir (his manager) has been like a true mentor, improving me and teaching me new tools and new concepts every second day. I owe that canny designer in me to Redefine” says Arpan.
“Engulf positivity and repel negativity’ is the quote that he lives by. “I am fuelled and driven by optimism but constricted by pessimism. I believe in flowing free like a wave beating the shore, abandoning all that’s trash and mundane and carrying away all that’s invaluable and irreplaceable” states Arpan.
He is all praises for his parents who he says have supported him in every single decision of his life and have been unimaginably understanding. “Not every Indian parents let their child pursue what he thinks is best for him. My parents did. I am proud and glad!”
