With high-speed internet and beautiful imagery, people can deeply immerse themselves in an event from anywhere across the world: geography is history! Another great advantage of virtual events is that you don’t need a special software or gadget to participate, they can take place on simple browsers.
We, at Redefine, recently executed one of our biggest Virtual Events, the Micro Focus India Business Continuity Dialogue 2020—in July 2020. The event saw over 20 keynote speakers addressing topics such as ‘Returning to the Next Normal –Strategic IT Priorities for India’, ‘Digital Transformation in the age of the New Normal’, and ‘Women in Technology’. The Virtual Event was hugely successful seeing over 1800 remote attendees.
Designed with a beautiful interface that replicates real-life facades such as lobbies and meeting rooms, one feels as if they are in a real conference. When entering the virtual event, the guests are met with a virtual host and a welcome theme video. As they glide in through the virtual corridor, they reach the main auditorium with a stunning virtual stage and virtual audience. At the click of a button, one can access slideshows, audios, videos, live chats, listen to and replay the keynote tracks, speaker’s note, and panel discussions. Just like a physical conference, we designed innovation booths where guests can communicate with a Live Booth Rep directly through texts or private messages.

For Micro Focus, we created 4 Virtual Break-Out Sessions for in-depth detailing on Enterprise DevOps; Hybrid IT Management; Security, Risk, and Governance; and Vertica, AMC, and IM&G. Each zone further consisted of various keynotes, quizzes, and Q and A sessions where guests can get information directly from the speaker. Step into the Resource Centre, a centralized storehouse, where one can download and save all of their virtual content. Last, but not the least, all attendees are invited to take the Event Survey and share their feedback on their experience of the Virtual Event.
